Space Shooter Project is an indie game developed by robsmithdev. Free to download and use, this game offers a simple space shooting gameplay. Here, you will take control of a spacecraft with the goal of taking down enemies. You can do so by firing your weapons at them.

Space Shooter Project plays like your usual arcade game with the same concept. With this, you don't need a tutorial to know how it plays out. The only difference is that at each level, your ammo will be limited. You would need to collect additional ones as you play along. 

How do you play Space Shooter Project?

If you are a fan of the classic space shooters, then playing Space Shooter Project will be familiar. As mentioned, it employs the same gameplay as other similar games. You will control a spacecraft and take down enemies in sight. Although this time, instead of a final boss, you can move to the next stage by clearing the required number of enemies.

Additionally, you will have limited ammo per level. You can add to it by collecting weapon-carrying craft, such as missiles that move along with your enemies. You can even collect a speed booster for your spacecraft. As with similar games, these power-ups only work for a limited time. Be careful in picking up a hazard-carrying craft as it can cause fatal damage to your ship.

The Space Shooter Project comes with simple controls. The WASD keys allow you to move in four directions. Meanwhile, holding the C key lets you vacuum power-ups to your location. Additionally, pressing the Shift button enables you to use your boosters. And finally, holding the space bar or clicking your left mouse button allows you to fire your weapons at your enemies. 

Is the game good?

If you are looking for an old-school arcade game to pass the time, then Space Shooter Project is a title that you can pick up. The game performs well and has a nicely detailed art style. However, it has the same gameplay as other space shooters. There is also not much variety offered at every level. In the end, it is just another space shooter.
